Great Expectations

This type book is intended for visually impaired students who attend main stream schools. The design, layout and printing are specifically adapted to the needs of such pupils. It allows a school to use the same study material in a class of mixed visual abilities. A chance encounter with an escaped convict and an unexpected summons from the mysterious Miss Havisham change the life of orphan Pip. A large gift of money from an unknown benefactor gives him ‘great expectations’ of becoming a gentleman and winning the hand of beautiful Estella. But the past holds many strange secrets that will cloud his hopes for happiness.
